Wellness Works Session 4: April 30th, 2021 4:00pm


How engaged are you? Youth engagement is so important to be able to empower youth to use their voices for meaningful change. When we get involved and give back, we feel more connected with our community, and it improves our mental wellness. YouthTALK members will lead an interactive and engaging session about youth empowerment, core motivation for helping others, and the great benefits it provides to help you for your future.

In-Class Learning to Resume February 8

Today, February 3, the Ministry of Education indicated that all elementary and secondary schools within Wellington Catholic will be welcomed back to in-person learning on Monday, February 8, 2021.

Virtual Education Extended

Earlier this week, Wellington-Guelph-Dufferin Public Health extended virtual learning for all elementary and secondary school students from January 25 to 29, inclusive. We anticipate further clarity from the Ministry of Education on an exact timeline for return.

First Wellness Works! Session – Building Strong Connections to take place on January 28

Wellington Catholic has collaborated with UGDSB and CMHA Waterloo-Wellington to put together Wellness Works!, a monthly youth conferences for Grade 9-12+ students. Each month will focus on a theme related to mental health and wellness. High school students who participate can earn community service hours for attending and they have an opportunity to win prizes.
